Mode: Standard · Game state: Even

Role baseline: Gold

Recommended first 5 items

Tip: click any item to open full dictionary detail.

Why these first 5

  • Slot 1 focuses lane safety and farm speed so your gold curve stays stable.
  • Slot 2 is the first true damage spike item for your hero archetype.
  • Slot 3-4 is where you pivot for anti-heal, penetration, or anti-dive depending enemy draft.
  • Gold path aims for fast DPS spike then anti-dive stability.
  • Penetration timing is included so damage does not fall off vs frontline.

Game-state adjustment note

  • Even game: keep balanced progression and adapt only for clear enemy threats.

Slot-by-slot breakdown

Slot 1 · Stability Setup

Early attack speed smooths last-hit tempo and first objective DPS.

Gold slot 1 should secure lane/jungle stability before greed damage.

Alternative options

You are getting hard-dived early and need survivability first.

Swap at slot 1.

Category: Boots · Scope: Core

Lane is decided by heavy physical poke.

Use slot 1 in physical lanes.

Category: Boots · Scope: Core

Slot 2 · Identity Spike

This is the first tank-shred core for sustained auto-attack heroes.

Slot 2 is ideal because you need one movement/boot layer first, then immediate objective DPS.

Alternative options

Your hero uses crit scaling better than on-hit scaling.

Can replace slot 2.

Category: Attack · Scope: Core

Enemy sustain is win condition by minute 6-8.

Can be rushed into slot 2-3.

Category: Attack · Scope: Situational

Slot 3 · First Adaptation

Golden Staff multiplies on-hit frequency and unlocks sustained DPS identity.

Slot 3 is the first major pivot point where anti-heal, utility, or defense can come in.

Alternative options

You need chase and stickiness before full DPS cycle.

Can be slot 2-3.

Category: Attack · Scope: Situational

You are pivoting into crit route instead of on-hit.

Replace slot 2-3 in crit builds.

Category: Attack · Scope: Core

Slot 4 · Scaling Check

This keeps physical damage relevant once armor items appear.

Slot 4 should answer enemy scaling (penetration vs tanks or resistance vs burst).

Alternative options

Enemy HP stack is more problematic than armor values.

Can be earlier slot 3.

Category: Attack · Scope: Core

Enemy sustain must be cut first to win objective fights.

Insert before Malefic if needed.

Category: Attack · Scope: Situational

Slot 5 · Late-Fight Insurance

Wind of Nature is your emergency anti-physical dive button.

Slot 5 is typically a safety/closing slot for decisive objective fights.

Alternative options

Magic burst is higher threat than physical burst.

Can replace same slot.

Category: Utility · Scope: Situational

Ultra-late game fights are decided by one death.

Use as slot 5.

Category: Utility · Scope: Core
